McCoy’s Brasserie, sister restaurant to the renowned McCoy’s at the Tontine opened to rave reviews in July 2008. The McCoy’s story began back in 1976 with the opening of The Tontine in Cleveland.

Established by the brothers McCoy; The Tontines reputation and loyal following grew and grew continuing to the present day. The brothers and business partner/Executive Chef Marcus Bennett enjoyed many successful years with restaurants in Yarm and the high profile BALTIC Rooftop Restaurant in Gateshead.

All of this culminating in the opening of Eugene McCoy’s and Marcus’s latest venture, McCoy’s Brasserie, in the heart of the vibrant Newcastle City Centre. Alongside their many private successes Eugene and Marcus also plan and design menus for the first class carriages on the National Express train service.
